"May the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart be pleasing in your sight, O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer". ~ Psalm 19:14

When I was younger the car stereo was, well let's just say different than today.  I remember trying to find a station... very carefully and slowly turning that dial.  it would go from static to reception to static... then I'd finally find a station... careful finely tuning that dial...

Today, my kids just say, "Do you have an 'Aux' cord" - plug in and listen... there isn't that careful tuning that we learned years ago.  They'll never know the victory of finding a song on a vintage radio.  But we need to remember that fine tuning...

Fine Tuning

God has done so much for us!  He is the strength and promise that is the foundation for our lives.  He is the One who has saved us from sin and death. He is the One who can do and has done the impossible!

Our worship comes from the gratitude we have for what He has done -- the recognition of who He is -- and the thoughts of what He is going to do!  Our worship cannot be confined to church buildings or quiet times... worship involves every aspect of life!  That's why it's so important to tune the words of our mouth and the motives of our hearts to God's will and work...  Our private worship is the careful fine tuning for our hearts and mouth... so that our public lives will play the song of God for a world that has not yet heard His song...

Realize that what goes in your ears and heart will come out of your mouth... Today, Lord may you be pleased by what goes in and what comes out!  You are the song that people see...

Keep praying for that ONE person who you know is far from God.  Let them see and hear the song God has given you... It's in the fine tuning...

I am praying for you!
