"You alone are the Lord. You made the heavens, even the highest heavens, and all their starry host, the earth and all that is on it, the seas and all that is in them. You give life to everything, and the multitudes of heaven worship you."  ~ Nehemiah 9:6

Yesterday was such a beautiful day... today looks to be another.  Spring like weather can set the heart on fire.  It might be a good day to take your Bible outside... sit down and spend some time meditating on Nehemiah chapter 9.  If you can't. get outside... sit by a window and take in God's creation.

Nehemiah 9... You could spend a lot of time on this prayer... so why not now?  Open your Bible and work your way through each part of this prayer.  It might even help to write some of these thoughts that God gives you down on paper...

You alone are the Lord

When you come to the verses praising God for His creative work and power, His love, His grace,... offer those words back to Him in your own prayer of praise.  The Holy Spirit will bring to mind some things relating directly to you... make this prayer your own by asking God to do a work in your life.

You will come to verses that show how faithful God was to Israel -- plug in your own history and praise Him for His mercy on you.  You will see verses that speak of Israel's stubbornness and unbelief... plead with God to not let that kind of hardness creep into your heart. God loves when we pray His Word back to Him!

If you do this... By the time you are done with this prayer and your meditation...  the day will be brighter, things will look different, nothing will look the same if you choose to look through your day with praise...  He alone is the Lord.

Keep praying for that ONE person that you know is far from God

Remember to lift your ONE to the Lord.  Ask God to reveal Himself to your One in a noticeable way today.  Ask God to open their eyes to His love for them...

I am praying for you --
